The 2026 Calgary Home & Garden Show was one of the highlights of our year. Over the course of the event, we had the chance to meet hundreds of Calgary homeowners face to face — answering questions, showing off real before-and-after samples, and talking through exactly what epoxy countertop resurfacing can do for a kitchen.
If you stopped by Booth #32 and chatted with us, thank you. If you missed us, here's a recap of what we were showcasing — and how to get in touch.
What We Brought to the Show
Our booth featured live countertop samples in our most popular finishes — white Carrara marble, Calacatta Gold, black Nero Marquina, and warm grey stone — so visitors could see and feel the finished surface in person rather than just looking at photos on a screen.
We also had our full service menu on display:
- Countertop Reface — epoxy resurfacing over existing laminate, tile, or cultured marble countertops
- Backsplash Reface — seamless, grout-free backsplash panels over existing tile
- Cabinet Painting — professional spray-applied Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane finish
- Kitchen Remodel — full kitchen refresh combining countertops, backsplash, and cabinets
The most common reaction we heard at the booth: "I had no idea it could look that good." That's exactly why we love doing shows like this — photos don't fully capture the depth and texture of a well-done epoxy finish. Seeing it in person changes the conversation.
The Questions We Heard Most
After two days of conversations with Calgary homeowners, a few questions came up again and again:
"How long does it last?" A professionally applied epoxy countertop, properly cared for, will look great for 10+ years. We back every project with a 3-year workmanship warranty against peeling and delamination.
"Can you do it over my existing countertop without tearing it out?" Yes — that's the whole point. We apply directly over your existing surface. No demolition, no plumbing disconnection, no days of kitchen downtime.
"What does it cost?" Full kitchen countertop resurfacing starts from $1,090 + GST for a standard Calgary kitchen. We gave out a lot of written quotes at the show — and the reaction was consistently the same: "That's way less than I expected."
"How long does the job take?" Most kitchen countertop projects are done in a single day. The surface is ready for light use the same day and fully cured within 24–48 hours.
"Do you do bathrooms?" Absolutely. Bathroom vanity resurfacing — including integrated sink basins — is one of our most popular services. It starts from $690 + GST and takes just a few hours.
The Show Special We Offered
At the show, we offered a limited Home & Garden Show discount for visitors who booked a free in-home consultation at the booth. If you picked up one of our cards or scanned our QR code, that offer is still valid — just mention the Home & Garden Show when you call or fill out the quote form.
Why We Do Shows Like This
Honestly? Because epoxy resurfacing is one of those things that's hard to fully appreciate until you see it in person. We can post photos and videos online all day, but there's something different about holding a sample in your hand, running your fingers across the surface, and seeing the depth of the finish under real lighting.
The Calgary Home & Garden Show brings together exactly the kind of homeowners we love working with — people who care about their homes, are thinking seriously about a kitchen refresh, and want to make a smart decision rather than just the most expensive one.
We'll be back next year. In the meantime, if you're thinking about countertop resurfacing, cabinet painting, or a backsplash reface for your Calgary home, we'd love to come out and give you a free in-home quote.
